How we work
A project with Precise Future always follows the same path. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a new application, a server migration or the modernisation of a legacy system. We explain it step by step, with what is delivered at each phase, so you know from the start what you will receive and when.
- Reunión y presupuesto
- Contrato firmado
- Diagnóstico y plan
- Entrega por partes
Initial meeting and quote
Everything starts with a meeting. It’s not a sales pitch: it’s a conversation to understand what you need, what is driving it and what your timelines are. In that meeting we’ll ask you specific questions: what the software needs to do, which systems it has to work alongside, and what the law or your client requires of you.
We ask that someone from your company who knows the process or the system well be present, and who can give us access to any information we need. Without that person, the quote is based on guesswork.
After the meeting, we carry out an initial analysis and send you the quote. It sets out what is included, how many parts the work is divided into, when it will be ready and what is excluded. The first meeting is free of charge.
Contract signed before we access your data
Once you approve the quote, we send you two documents: the service contract and a confidentiality agreement binding both parties. We sign before accessing a single piece of data from your company or the code of any systems you already have.
From this point on, we work as an extra member of your team. We will need access to real information and to the time of the people who do the work every day.
Diagnosis: what is done today and what it costs
The diagnosis produces three documents, all of which we give you in writing:
- A diagram of how the work is done today, step by step. It shows what each step contributes to what you sell.
- Who does what in the processes covered by the project: what they receive to do it and what they leave done.
- The current cost of each activity. Including direct and indirect costs from your accounts, if you give us access to them, or measured in working time, if you prefer not to share them.
To understand how the work is really done, we talk to the people who do it, not just to management. And if what we’re told isn’t clear, we go and watch it being done.
A plan with alternatives
With the diagnosis in hand, we analyse which activities can be automated or digitalised and what each one would gain. For each alternative you will see the current cost compared with the cost after the change. We separate what is essential from what is optional. And we do this without your clients noticing any decline in service.
The result is a step-by-step plan. The first items are those that deliver the most and are cheapest to put into operation. You decide what gets done first and how far the project goes.
Delivery in parts, with a guarantee
The build is delivered in self-contained parts. Each part arrives with the software already working in a test environment, before you use it for real, and with what has been done explained in writing.
Each part comes with a guarantee. If what we deliver doesn’t do what we agreed, we fix it at our own cost.
We explain in writing who can access the software and what they can do with your data. What we don’t do is sign on your behalf. We give you what you need so that you can sign it yourself.
The next part doesn’t start until you have closed the current one. That way the project never builds up unreviewed work. And if the direction needs to change, it changes after a delivered part, not after months of half-finished work.
If your client or the law asks for more
Sometimes the people who buy from you ask for written guarantees, or the law requires them. If that’s your situation, we provide evidence that security measures are built in from the design stage and into the code itself. That means who can access what and what they can do, who did what and when, and that no one can change the data without it being noticed. So, on the day someone from outside comes to review it, you have everything ready.
If you want to see how all this applies to your case, tell us about your project and we’ll arrange the first meeting.
