Where your data is

Your data stays in Europe, and we put it in writing. What that means for you and who can access your server.

Your website is hosted in the European Union. All of it stays there: pages, data and backups. Nothing leaves Europe.

When you ask, we will give you the server location and how backups are made, in writing.

What it means for you

Your data does not leave Europe. That way you can answer without hesitation when a client asks where it is.

The data your website collects belongs to you. We only maintain the server. This is stated in the contract.

What leaves Europe and what doesn’t

To make your website load quickly, it is served from points around the world. Public pages are cached close to the visitor, but not your data. If your client doesn’t want even that, we will discuss it with you before starting.

Who gets into the server

Nobody, from the internet. Our team connects through a private gateway, and only when there is a task to do.

If your client or the law asks for more

If you sell to the public administration, they may ask you for the ENS, the security standards required by the administration. We have it documented: where the data is, who has access and how it is copied. We will give you those documents for your file.

What we use

Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centres in the European Union. Public pages are distributed by CloudFront.
